4. How do we ensure product quality?

5. How long do Lian Huat noodles last, and how should I store them?
All our noodles are made fresh locally in New Zealand to ensure the best quality and taste. They are best enjoyed before the expiry date printed on the pack. To keep them fresh, please store the noodles in the refrigerator in their original sealed packaging, preferably in the inner part of chiller compartment (not the door), where the temperature is most stable. This is to mitigate freeze and thaw cycles.
6. Can I freeze the noodles to extend their shelf life?
Yes. While our noodles are best enjoyed fresh before the expiry date, you can freeze them to extend their shelf life for up to 6 months. When ready to use, simply defrost before cooking.
7. Do your products contain allergens?
Yes. Our noodles and pastries contain wheat and gluten. Please check the ingredients list on each pack for full allergen information.
8. Are your noodles and pastries suitable for vegetarians or vegans?
Most of our products, such as Udon, Hokkien, Fresh Noodles, Yang Chun, Wonton Pastry, and Dumpling Pastry, are egg-free and suitable for vegetarians. However, Egg Wonton Noodles do contain egg. Always check the ingredients list for details.
