Sweet, savoury, and full of Japanese-inspired flavour, Teriyaki Beef Udon features tender beef slices tossed with silky Lian Huat Udon noodles in a rich homemade teriyaki sauce. An easy weeknight favourite that’s ready in minutes.
Ingredients
- 500g Lian Huat Udon Noodles
- 300g beef strips
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp of crushed garlic
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 spring onions, sliced
Sauce
- 3 tbsp teriyaki sauce
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- ¼ cup beef stock
Method
Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Add crushed garlic and onion, stirring until fragrant.
Add beef strips and cook until browned.
Add carrot and broccoli, then stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Mix all sauce ingredients together.
Add Lian Huat Udon noodles directly to the wok. Pour in the sauce and add 2–3 tablespoons of water while cooking.
Toss well over high heat until the noodles are heated through, evenly coated, and silky in texture.
Garnish with spring onions and serve hot.
